Day Five – 30 Days of Creativity 2012

Today’s theme was ‘cloud’, so I decided to take an old cloud vector that I made back in the day when I was still learning the software for my laser cutter, improve it a bit, and add a couple of extra bits, inspired by today’s weather!

I wanted to use blue mirror acrylic for the raindrops but had to make do with transparent blue instead – though I think it actually works just as well, if not better than the mirror would have done. The holes at either side are so that I can make it into a necklace at some point, although I might cut one without the holes and make it into a brooch too…

What do you reckon?

  1. Really like the idea of this as a brooch. Lovely design – the blue works beautifully.

  2. I really like this one. I can’t stop coming back to look at it!
